Will you actually install a door you didn't sell me?
Yes. Most local installers won't — they want to sell you the door too. We install whatever you ordered, regardless of source. Bring us the door, we'll handle the rest.
Can you check my spec sheet before I order?
Yes — text or email it before you finalize the order. We'll flag anything that won't fit a US opening (metric panel widths, headroom requirements, track radius), so you catch the problem before the container ships, not after.
What if the door arrives damaged or with the wrong specs?
We inspect everything on arrival before install. If there's damage or a mismatch, you'll have documentation to file a claim with the factory or freight company. We can pause the install and reschedule once replacement parts arrive — no charge for the trip out.
How long does the install take?
Typical residential install is 4–6 hours from arrival to safety-reverse test. Multi-door or oversized installs run longer. We give you a window when you book.
Will a US opener work with a Chinese door?
Almost always yes. The door panels, tracks, and springs are mechanical — the opener is independent. We install LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie on imported doors regularly. Chinese-bundled openers usually don't meet UL 325 (US safety standard), so we recommend a US-market opener instead.
What if I'm missing hardware or shipped the wrong parts?
We supply tracks, springs, rollers, cables, and brackets at fair market rate, added to your install quote. We can also upgrade Chinese hardware to US-standard during install if the quality is questionable.
My springs are metric. Can you service them later?
Yes. We stock both metric and imperial torsion springs. For long-term serviceability, we sometimes recommend swapping to US-standard springs during install — your call. Either way, any local garage door tech we send out will be able to service it.
Will the manufacturer warranty still apply, and what about install warranty?
Manufacturer warranty stays valid when a licensed contractor installs the door — we're WA-licensed (#NORTHGD753JW), insured, and bonded. The door itself is covered by the factory; we warranty our install labor for 1 year.
